During a months long stay in southern California’s Joshua Tree National Park, artist Daniel Kukla decided to create a beautifully simple series of photographs using a mirror and a painter’s easel. The results are pretty amazing.
Inspired by the changing landscapes and terrain as he drove around the border of the park Kukla decided to capture the juxtaposition between the different ecosystems. Using the mirror he’s created beautiful canvases that look like oil paintings by reflecting the opposing landscape. To see more of Kula’s work visit here.
