A year ago, Bahamas resident Laura Young discovered a baby raccoon that has fallen out of a tree. After searching for her mother who was nowhere to be found Kemp and her daughter decided to adopt the baby raccoon and name her “Pumpkin.” Pumpkin fell from a considerable height and it took her a while to recover from her injuries however now that she’s better, she’s just like another member of the family.
Pumpkin now follows their to rescue dogs wherever they go, acting as if she is a dog herself. “She now thinks she is a dog… she is able to play and be rough with them and she respects them when they have had enough,” Young told TheDodo. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
