In an article written on Medium, Macedonian artist Damjan Cvetkov-Dimitrov goes into great detail on how he and his girlfriend are forever trapped in the city of Tokyo, transporting us to there too in a series of beautifully minimal GIFs that include subtle animation to create an atmosphere of tranquility, complexity and relaxation.
“What sets Tokyo and Japan apart from the rest of the world was of course the attention to detail and detail within detail,” writes Dimitrov, a statement that is all too true when you look at the stunning architecture of the city.
