This Was David Bowie’s Last Ever Photo Shoot

After the passing of musician David Bowie millions of people expressed their deep sadness that the world had lost a legend, artists even paid tribute with their beautiful works of art. Perhaps the most tragic part is that only days before his death he turned 69 and released his new album, Blackstar, which many are now saying was a farewell or parting gift to his millions of fans, particularly the video for his newest single Lazarus.

In order to promote the album Bowie posed in a black suit and fedora hat in what was his last ever photo shoot, but it’s not what he’s wearing that is capturing everyones attention, instead it’s his smile and confidence. This is exactly how everyone would want to be remembered.

“That’s the message that I sent, why is this man so happy? Is it because it‘s his 69th birthday or that he has released his 28th studio album today and it’s a corker? Who knows, but we’re sure you’ll want to join us in congratulating him on bot,” reads the website where the photos were originally posted.
