These pieces of jewellery from Michigan-based florist Susan McLeary are not only beautifully designed, they evolve as you wear them. Whether it's bracelets, earrings, rings or even necklaces each of the pieces of jewellery feature succulents that have been weaved into their design.
Each of the pieces can only be worn for two to four weeks, during which the pieces of jewellery will slowly grow and adapt until they eventually fall off of their bases. Everyone's a winner in the end though, as the plants can be transferred into a planter to continue growing whilst the base can be kept.
McLeary takes a lot of pride in the composition of her flowers on the jewellery ‘If I’m excited by the collection of elements in front of me, the arranging doesn’t feel like work – it feels like a choreographed dance – each element taking its perfect place and supporting its partners,’ she said in an interview.
