Animal lover Steve Greig has a heart of gold, proven by his devotion to giving elderly dogs that never found their forever home a place to live. When it comes to adoption older dogs are often overlooked in favour of younger pups which means many miss out on the chance to find a loving home, but not if Steve can help it.
Believing strongly that every animal deserves to have a chance at happiness Steve sets his sights on making that happen for as many dogs as possible, a journey which started with a single trip to a local shelter. Steve now has 10 dogs, most of which are elderly, as well as a pig called Bikini, two ducks, some pigeons, cats and even a few chickens!.
That might sound like a lot of animals, but judging by Steve’s Instagram account they all get along as one big happy family, Bikini the pig even seems to think she’s a dog!.
