Just as replacing guns in movies with thumbs has it’s hilarious results, replacing them with selfie sticks instead is equally as funny and finally an excuse for a selfie stick that we can actually get behind.
The selfie stick seems to get a lot of hate, perhaps because it’s recognised as the ultimate symbol of vanity, but if you’re posing in an epic location like in these selfies or with a group of friends then they’re perfectly excusable.
At the time of making these movies neither the actors or the directors had any idea they’d one day be starring selfie sticks, but there’s no denying that they’re instantly made better. Just imagine how different Terminator would have been if Arnold Schwarzenegger paused, looked at the camera and said “but first, let me take a selfie.”
