Making clever use of glow-in-the-dark paint artist Cristoforo Scorpiniti makes sure that whether the spotlight is on his artworks or off they’ve never fail to amaze, even when the lights go out. Using special paint Scorpiniti creates beautiful scenes in which animals explore landscapes and boats sail the open seas as well as occasionally experimenting with more surreal elements, all of which are finished in his signature silhouetted style.
The end result is a dark portrait that’s illuminated by the background which further comes to life when the lights go out as stars and galaxies are revealed. The cosmos is a vast and mysterious place, something that Scorpiniti manages to capture well. You can see more of his work over on Facebook and Instagram.
