Photographer Captures Stunning Photo of Milky Way Above Bolivian Salt Flats

Going about our day to day lives in familiar surroundings it’s far too easy to forget that places like the Salar de Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia exist, but luckily for us that’s were photographers like Daniel Kordan come in handy, reminding us all that the world is home to some truly otherworldly spectacles, and they don’t come much bigger than this!

At an impressive 11,000 sq.-km Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flat in the world. During may 2016 Kordan travelled to the salt flat and using a Nikon D810A astrophotography DSLR and a 14-24mm f/2.8 Nikon lens managed to capture some some truly breathtaking photos of the Milky Way reflecting off of the flooded salt plains.

This is by no means the only beautiful place that Kordan has visited and photographed and you can see many more of his stunning shot over on InstagramFacebook and his website.
