Whilst some of us aren’t as easily scared as others there’s no denying that the Hollywood horror movie staple, the ‘jump scare’, over the years has made even the most seasoned horror movie watchers jump once or twice.
So what is it about the jump scare that never fails to have at least one person in the theatre jumping out of their skin? apparently it has a lot to do with sound. If you’re brave enough then watch this jump scare supercut with sound but if you’re not then just watch anyway with the sound muted. Without sound it’s almost laughable to watch.
