Although Bangladesh-based Shamim Shorif Susom is a pilot by profession his job flying over some of the most beautiful landscapes that his home country Bangladesh has to offer has enable him to pursue his true passion in life, photography.
Susom grew up in a village and moved to the capital of his country, Dhaka, to study when he was a boy. After getting his job he spent time moving from city to city which wasn’t always an enjoyable experience to leave old memories behind.
Through his photography however Susom is doing his very best to capture what it is that makes his motherland so beautiful and in the process reliving childhood memories and making connections to his roots. Even though we don’t share Susom’s experiences and memories we can all see why it is that he loves the country he’s from.
