In order to celebrate the arrival of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, French street artist JR decided a normal mural or art installation wouldn’t do so set about creating something a little more special and he’s most certainly succeeded.
Towering above structures in Rio de Janeiro the ongoing ‘inside out’ project is a celebration of the Olympics coming to the city as athletes can be seen jumping and diving over buildings and other landmarks. The 2016 Rio Olympics will start on the 5th August with over 11,000 athletes set to compete. You can see more of the artist’s work over on Instagram.
