Not only does Austrian photographer Anne Geier take great photos, she also has the unique ability of capturing her canine subjects at their most adorable as her expressive portrait photos show exactly why dogs are the deserving owners of the title 'mans best friend'.
With the enchanting Austrian landscapes and their ever changing colours throughout the seasons as her backdrop Geier's latest photographs are taken during autumn, arguably one of the most beautiful times of the year which only adds to the vibrant colours in her photos.
The secret to the often deep and vibrant colours in Geier's photos is the time that she chooses to shoot her photos. In an interview with Bored Panda she revealed "The main reason why my photos are that colourful is that I am always careful about the light conditions. During sunny days I only take photos in the early morning hours or at the evening. Only at this time the light is gentle enough to create such intense colours. I love taking photographs on cloudy days without any sun and I love to use back-light."
