In the past week Japan has experienced freezing temperatures and snowfall which has prompted some people to start creating amazing anime-inspired snow sculptures. Whilst most of us would settle in creating a traditional snowman (whenever that opportunity may arise) people in Japan have been creating characters from anime and movies.
From Pokemon such as Blastoise and Pikachu to No-Face, a spirited character from the anime movie Spirited Away, each of the sculptures that have been popping up in people’s front gardens or on city sidewalks are seriously impressive which comes as less of a surprise when you consider that each yeah Japan is home to the Sapporo Snow Festival.
