This Panda Sanctuary in China Is Letting Visitors Snap Selfies with Its Residents

Although you’d be forgiven for thinking that these photos of a giant panda posing for the camera are fake, they’re very much real and all part of a service offered by the Dujiangyan Panda Base in Chengdu city in China that lets you pose with a panda.

The Dujiangyan Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was founded in 2011 and specialises in introducing the pandas back into the wild and is currently home to 108 bears which makes it the largest artificial panda breeding population in the world.

And they’ve just released six photos of a panda posing with a lucky tourist.
