Whether you’ve had a go at popping corn yourself or just love the taste, the chances re that you’ve never seen the corn pop and transform as it happens all too quickly, which is what makes this YouTube video so damn fascinating to watch. In order to capture the process a Phantom v2512 Ultra High Speed Camera was used, filming at 30,000 FPS which enabled Matt Mikka to capture the popping corn exploding 1,250 times slower than real time.
