Guy Who sucks at Photoshop Uses Microsoft Paint to Illustrate His E-Book and It Looks Amazing

Although the go to program for most people creating an ebook with illustrations would be a Photoshop or Illustration neither of those would do for Pat Hines, so he used Microsoft paint instead. Normally referred to as a less capable illustrating program with rather basic tools and functions in comparison to Photoshop you wouldn’t think that Hines illustrations would be up to a normal books standards and you’d be right.. because they are way better.

Over the course of ten years Hines perfected his use of Microsoft Paint whilst working long nightshifts at a hospital reception desk and this is what served as the inspiration for him to use the exact same program to illustrate his own novel, Camp Redblood And The Essential Revenge.

Proving that sometimes its good to stick with what you know best, some of Hines’ illustrations have left people in doubt over whether they’re really created in Microsoft Paint and in response he has asked people to zoom in on his images or visit his Deviantart page where you can see step-by-step photos of them being created.
