YouTubers Venture into Restricted Cosmodrome, Discover Two Abandoned Soviet Space Shuttles

Whilst exploring haunted or abandoned places has become quite popular on YouTube there are still some that are willing go the extra mile to explore places that others won’t and in this case it’s YouTube channel Exploring the Unbeaten Path.

For their latest video the two members broke into the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the world’s largest and first operational space launch facility. Currently on loan to Russia until 2050 the facility is heavily guarded making access to the Cosmodrome tricky with constant guard patrols to avoid.

Once inside however they were safe and set about exploring the two soviet era space shuttles from the Buran space program that lie abandoned inside one of the vast hangars. Neither of the shuttles ever made it to space and were left unfinished in 1993 after money dried up from the collapse of the USSR two years earlier.

Checkout what else they found in the video above as well as some of the amazing shots they managed to capture whilst there.
