Artist Creates Glass ‘Jellyfish’ Tables That Appear to Effortlessly Float by Themselves

Working from Chianti, Tuscany, artist Daniela Forti produces glass artworks that take on the form of tables. Forti likens her artworks to jellyfish because of their dripping tentacles that serve as the tables legs, creating the illusion that they’re effortlessly floating as a jellyfish does moving through water.

The pieces are created through a melted glass fusion process that leaves each of the pieces precariously balanced on colourful spindles and droplets of glass, somehow supporting the weight from above. You can find more of her work here.
