When you think buffalos, you probably never imagine this. China’s buffalo painting craze takes body paint to another level, turning wild beasts into beautiful works of art.
The body painting competition takes place in the Jiancheng county of China’s Yunnan province. Artists from eight different countries compete by creating wild and bright patterns on buffalos in order to win 100,000 yuan, ($16,042) in prize money and of course the bragging rights to being the best buffalo painter around.
