A Day in the Life of an Everyday Astronaut

In november 2013 Tim Dodd found himself the only bidder of a Russian high altitude space suit, but what he did next is absolutely amazing. This this day he had been wondering how he could possibly best use this suit, and there is no doubt he has done just that. By revisiting his childhood love for space, he has used the suit to really show his inner child in this funny but very well done series called “A day in the life of Everyday Astronaut”.

Good morning world!.

Such tough decisions.

Personal hygiene is important.

Boldly going where no astronaut has gone before.

Super upset that he did make TIME’s “Astronaut of the Year”.

It really isn’t the same.

Mowing the lawn is no simple task either.

Going grocery shopping is simple enough though.

He always orders his ice cream “à la space”.

The dog has still got to be walked though. This is Laika.

Doing some light research at the local library.

Space food is so much easier to make.

Rocket boosters because normal transport just isn’t enough.

The closest you can get to defying gravity on earth.

Watching his favourite movie before bed time.

Goodnight world.
