A female runner named Heather Dorniden was leading in the finals of a college championship against some of the best athletes from across the U.S, when suddenly she tripped and fell with 1 lap left of the 600 meter race.
In that situation most people would’ve given up, but Heather didn’t quit, instead she dug deep and left the crowd in amazement.

This is obviously a relatively old video, but it’s about the principle more than anything.
Heather is now an 8 time All-American and is one of the most successful athletes in the history of University of Minnesota. The majority of her success can be attributed not to talent, but to an unwillingness to give up even though it looked like everything was against her.
