Games on iOS, or any OS for that matter can be incredibly lucrative. It’s not so long ago that Dong Nyugen, the creator of hit game Flappy Bird was reportedly earning $50,000 a day before the game was taken down by the developer. Eight months after the game is still making money from the millions who still have it installed on their devices.

The game is just one of many that have proven to be million-dollar businesses with the likes of Angry Birds, Clash of Clans and Candy Crush Saga demonstrating how ‘free’ to download games can still generate money from advertising as well as in-game purchases and add-ons.
