Artist Creates Nano Sculptures so Small They Can’t Be Seen by the Human Eye

We’ve posted some incredible art before but nothing on this rather small scale. Jonty Hurwitz normally works on ordinary sculptures, but art is all about pushing boundaries, something that the London based artist is not afraid of doing.

In his latest artworks he has created nano sculptures that are so small they cannot be seen by the human eye. The sculptures depict the human form of a woman, and can only be seen under a microscope.

It won’t be surprising for you to learn then that these are the smallest sculptures of the human body to ever be created in human history, created using a new 3D printing technique known as Multiphoton Lithography.
