These cleverly designed geometric animal sculptures that appear like low-poly 3D renders are designed by German based artist Wolfram Kampffmeyer.
The fact that the sculptures bare a striking resemblance to computer animation comes as no surprise when you learn that the link between the two is intentional because Wolfram is currently studying computer animation. She writes –
“if you are sitting in front of the computer all day watching your virtual models, you start wishing to hold them in your hands.“
Much like the DIY paper masks by Steve Wintercroft these animal sculptures can be assembled at home and purchased via the artists Etsy page.
