In order to celebrate the best and worst bits of 2014 Beutler Ink have created this brilliantly detailed illustration which features the most newsworthy and notable events of this year. Using Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel movie poster as the basis of this illustration the digital content agency has broken it down into sections with news headlines, celebrities and emoji’s.
The entire illustration is drawn in a fun and cartoon like style that lightens up even the darkest of events referenced in the poster. If you look closely you can see quite a few events, including Kim Kardashians notorious Breaking the Internet cover for Paper Magazine.
