Imaginative Photo Manipulations Explore Cityscape Daydreams

These imaginative photo manipulations that look as if they were inspired by double exposure photography are by Andrea Costantini and explore what it’s like to daydream in the city by blending portrait photos of people with photographs of cityscapes.

The series is titled ‘Where Is My Mind’ and perfectly captures what its like to daydream in a busy city. Their black and white appearance paints a rather bleak and muddled image of the mind that holds true for many people when it comes to busy urban places.

The use of black and white however is for another reason, Costantini is fascinated with the relationship between light, texture and shadow and how they can make ordinary places look out of this world. Make sure you check out more work via his website.
