If you are a sci-fi fan or not you probably remember scenes from Star Trek where different species communicate with each other in real-time even though they are speaking entirely different languages? well it might have seemed like something out of a sci-fi movie then but it’s now a real thing thanks to Skype.
The software adapts and gets smarter the more it is used and in this video we see it being tried and tested by two schools, one in the USA and the other in Mexico. Once this technology expands into other languages and devices a language barriers over the phone will be a thing of the past.
