How do you top an extravagant wedding with hundreds of guests, luxurious cars and bank breaking venues? by stripping all of that away and having a wedding as humble and beautiful as this. Wedding photographer Jonas Peterson has captured some incredible photographs in Kenya of a couple getting married with the help of wild animals and their Maasai warrior friends.
The bride and groom had previously spent two years in the area creating a book about a lion pride and during that time had developed a close bond with the Maasai Mara locals.
The wedding ceremony was held at a camp on the Kenyan planes and thanks to Peterson’s amazing photography we get to see it unfold. They present to us a moment in which two completely separate cultures came together to celebrate Nina and Sebastian getting married.
