London Becomes an Apocalyptic Filmset on Christmas Day

London is a busy and thriving city that is full of people 24 hours a day 7 days a week with only a handful of exceptions, one of them being Christmas day. This year Metin Sönmez rode his bike through London’s busiest locations and photographed how empty it was. He remarked that “It was like a scene from the movie ’28 Days Later!.”

We couldn’t agree more. It’s pretty rare to see London this quiet and if you were looking to film your own amateur apocalyptic movie in a city then London on Christmas Day seems like a good bet.
