4-Month-Old Baby Rescued From Nepal Earthquake Rubble After 22 Hours

On the 25th April a series of devastating earthquakes and aftershocks caused terrible devastation to Nepal. Cities were ruined and small villages were left cut off. Rescue workers and locals have joined forces to search for survivors in the rubble and debris of collapsed buildings however the victim count continues to grow. 

Fortunately however, 4-month-old baby boy Sonit was found alive after being trapped under the rubble of his family’s home for 22 hours. His father, Shyam Awal, had given up looking until he heard his son cry out.

22 hours after being buried alive, baby Sonit was pulled from the rubble. He was found alive and healthy!
