After a Student’s Baby Started Crying in Class, the Professor Responded in the Best Way Ever

Whilst lecturing to a group of students on organizational behavior at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Professor Sydney Engelberg remained completely unfazed as a child began to cry. The mother of the child felt embarrassed and thought that she would leave the lecture but as she walked out, she was stopped by the lecturer.

As a father-of-four and grandfather-of-five he picked up the child without even diverting away from what he was speaking about and continued on. Apparently Engelberg welcomes mother to attend his masters’ lectures with their children on the basis that no mother should have to choose between a child and their education!

The mother of the child got up and started to walk out, but as she left he picked up the child and continued to teach as if nothing had happened.

According to his daughter Engelberg believes that everyone has the right to education, and that no mother should be forced to choose between their child and an education.

Everyone that attended that day didn’t just learn about organisational behaviour, they learn’t an important lesson and just how awesome Professor Sydney Engelberg really is.
