Orphaned Fox Cub Gets Nursed Back to Health with the Help of Loving Collie Dog

Meet Dinozzo, a tiny fox cub that was rescued from the side of the road after being struck by a car. In poor health, Dinozzo was taken to the vet and then later adopted by Werner and Angelika Schmaing, a couple from Oberscheld, Germany, who also care for other animals, one of them being a collie dog named Ziva.

Since Dinozzo was adopted she has become the best of friends with Ziva, so much so that the tiny fox cub seems to think that he’s a dog himself. Dinozzo has now made a full recovery and has also developed a friendship with the families Bengal cat named Leopald.

According to her owners, Ziva acts like a foster mum to the other adopted animals and has developed a special bond with Dinozzo.

Dinozzo is allowed to come and go as he pleases in and out of the house. If he wants to wonder off into the wild he’s allowed to, but something tells us he will be staying around for a while longer now that he’s made some friends.
