A selfie posted on Facebook by Tawny Willoughby, a 27-year-old mother who lives in Alabama, has been going viral and the reason is pretty shocking. The selfie shows her skin cancer treatment and was posted as a warning to others about the dangers of tanning. She was first diagnosed at the age of 21 and has been receiving treatment ever since.

Tawny has had basal cell carcinoma five times and squamous cell carcinoma once. Now she visits a dermatologist every 6-12 months in order to have a checkup and get the cancer removed. Apparently Tawny used to visit the tanning beds 4-5 times a week. Now she want's others to learn from her mistakes...

"If anyone needs a little motivation to not lay in the tanning bed and sun here ya go!"
