Visual artist Julien Mauve has imagined what mankind’s first steps on Mars might look like in a project that was inspired by his love for unexplored worlds. The otherworldly photos show us what the first humans to step foot on Mars might get up to, including taking selfies. Both NASA and SpaceX are working on a way to get humans to the giant red planet right now, and Mauve reckons we will get there within the next 50 years.
Mauve set out to find locations that looked similar in appearance for his photos and after some flawless editing in post production we are left with a series called Greetings From Mars. For more work visit the artists website.
