Museum Creates Indoor Beach for Visitors Using 1,000,000 Recyclable Plastic Balls

The National Building Museum in Washington has opened what has to be one of the coolest interactive installations ever, a 10,000 square-foot ball pit filled with over 1,000,000 recyclable plastic balls that’s supposed to mimic a beach. Visitors to the museum are invited to jump in and get involved – even the adults can have some fun!.

Named ‘The Beach’ this unusual exhibit was designed by design firm named Snarkitecture. Featuring a gradual slope that starts at the beach chairs and gets deeper the further you wade into the pit, this should be on everyones to do list should you be in the Washington area. For more info head here.
