Two shelter dogs named Kala and Keira were just a few hours from almost certain death by euthanization, however thanks to a loving embrace between the two of them they now have a new loving home. It all started when a pet rescue organisation in Georgia named Angels Among Us posted a photo of the two on Facebook. Angels Among Us are a pet rescue that try to save dogs and cats from high-kill shelters.
Within two hours of the photo being posted the photo of Kala, the brown dog, hugging Keria had found the two of them a new loving home, proving that miracles really do happen. Despite this uplifting story it’s important to remember that there are hundreds of other dogs facing the same fate, however their story may not have such a happy ending.
