This beautifully designed bridge gradually turns into an underwater tunnel that goes below the sea to connect Denmark and Sweden together and it’s the most oddly satisfying thing ever. Known as The Øresund, it stretches a total of 8km connecting Copenhagen to the Swedish city of Malmö.
The bridge opened in 2001 and travels for 4km before dipping below the sea where an artificial island has been built. For more information on the bridge visit here.
