This sick dog was found in a terrible state at the side of the road in Udaipur, India, by Indian organisation Animal Aid Unlimited. The dog was suffering from mange, dehydration and had clearly been neglected by humans for a very long time. “He was so exhausted and inward,” his rescuers said, but after being nursed back to health over two months he’s hardly recognisable in both appearance and personality!

But over time his carers managed to gain their trust.
After two months of treatment his skin had healed and he was much happier.
Traumatised from the ordeal he had been through, Animal Aid helped him get over his anxieties.
