Giant 3D Mural in Poland Transforms Building Facade Into a Historical Market

On the first of October a giant mural depicting an historical market painted on to a large facade will be revealed in the Polish city of Poznań and at first glance it looks just like a real market, but look closer and it’s an incredible optical illusion.

Located near to the St. Margaret Cathedral the mural is titled “A Tale śródecka with trumpeter on the roof and a cat in the background” and uses clever painting techniques to create the illusion of depth. The mural was made to celebrate the settlement gaining city rights in 1231.
