Man Builds a ‘Dog Train’ to Take Rescued Dogs on Adventures and It’s Adorable

Retired 80-year-old Eugene Bostick from Fort Worth, Texas, never could have imagined that he would end up spending his retirement taking care of pets that need his help. Bostick lives down a dead-end street where people often come and dump dogs and leave them to starve which is what initially prompted him to start caring for them.

He told The Dodo “People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.”

One day Bostick spotted a guy with a tractor pulling lots of carts full of rocks and thought to himself “Dang, that would do for a dog train,'” and suddenly, the dog train was born.

Since its creation the dog train has attracted quite a lot of attention from locals who stop to take pictures of the adorable parade and as for the dogs, they seem to be more than happy to come along for the ride. Although they get plenty of walks and Bostick has a lot of land for them to roam freely on they still seem to really enjoy it.
