Photographer Christian richter, based in Jeßnitz, Germany, has been fascinated with abandoned buildings since early childhood, a fascination that only grew after he purchased his first camera. Since then he’s been photographing abandoned buildings around Europe, focusing on the abstract architectural features such as spiral staircases and the unusual items left behind.
