Man Asks for His Body to Be Photoshoped Around the World to Assess Global Beauty Standards

A U.K. based online doctor service recently asked graphic designers around the world to transform a male models body using Photoshop, turning him into someone that would be deemed more attractive by citizens in their own countries and the results are fascinating.

After their own research in the UK they found that 40% of men felt pressure from media such as magazines and television to have ‘the perfect body’ and that it had a negative effect on the way they viewed themselves.

“We hope this report helps to empower men to place their physical and mental health above appearance to ensure we become a nation where body confidence is, in fact, the cultural norm,” they explain in their own words.
