Internet connoisseur’s will know that the internet is full of millions upon millions of cat images, but these photos of Cutlet the cat are a little different thanks to the talent and imagination of her owner, Makeeva. The Russian photographer spends her spare time pursuing her passion for photography whilst spending time with her beloved pet who’s better known as Kotleta which translates to ‘Cutlet’ in English.
“He is a quite phlegmatic cat, and that helps me in making compositions. At home, he can sit with a cap on his head for 2 minutes,” Makeeva told Boredpanda. “On the street or in other areas he simply doesn’t go anywhere – he sits wherever you put him. Of course, we know how to keep his attention with different tasty things, and what to do that he would look at the right direction. Cat’s psychology is such that they cannot be forced to do something, we only can do a certain sequence of actions so that he thinks that it was all his decisions.”
At just 14-year-old Makeeva started to experiment with photo editing but didn’t start taking her own photos for another 2 years. Because of this no matter what photo she takes now Makeeva will always further enhance the photos in Photoshop, adding to their magical appearance.
