Give that his artwork appears to defy the laws of gravity, artist Michael Grab's nickname Gravity Glue seems more than fitting. Known well for his incredibly well balanced stacks of rocks that seem to do the impossible Grab has been perfecting his skill since 2008 when he came across the practice by chance.
Only using the natural supplies that surround him Grab creates each precarious structure one stone at a time and doesn't use any glue - the only force holding his creations together is gravity itself. So how exactly are these impossibly balanced creations achieved? the answer lies in finding the right contact points and small indentations for each of the rocks.
This process coupled with meditation creates a places of stillness and calmness for Grab which is reflected in the tranquility of the photos that he takes to show off his fascinating creations. You can see more here.
