The Enchanting Landscapes of the French Alps Photographed by Kevin Millet

On a recent trip to the stunning French Alps director and photographer Kevin Millet, who also goes by the name of Mkind, decided to embark on a series titled Ampleur (Extent) in which he explores the vast mountainous expanses in the regions of Aiguille du midi, Chamonix, Vallorcine and the Emosson lake.

Also choosing to visit the equally as beautiful Swiss Alps during this project Millet grew up in Annemasse, Haute-Savoie (France) near to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Because of this the mountains have long held a place in the photographers heart and from these photos it’s clear to see why.

The snow capped mountains that stretch as far as the eye can see with little human intervention or disruption have an almost calming and tranquil feel that make the French & Swiss Alps the perfect place to go off the grid and on an adventure. You can see more of Millet’s work on Instagram and Facebook.
