Rescued Foxes Refuse to Leave the Side of the Man Who Saved Them

So a real-life Doctor Dolittle might not actually exist, but this man might just be the next best thing. Meet Patsy Gibbons, a man from County Kilkenny, Ireland, who’s recently made himself some new best friends after rescuing them as abandoned pups.

Patsy raised the two foxes, now named Grainne and Minnie and helped them make a full recovery after they were abandoned by their mother with the intention of letting the pups return to the wild, but it would seem they have other plans. Instead they’ve decided to fully embrace Patsy as their rescuer, hero and now full time parent by never leaving his side.

Unsurprisingly the unlikely trio have gained a lot of attention from the media and locals and now the foxes have even been invited to a local school so that the students can see them up close. “I now have people from all over the country and indeed the UK asking me for advice on looking after foxes,” Gibbons told The Irish Examiner.
