Photographer Turns London Commuters into Renaissance Portraits

There’s not many people that can say they enjoy their commute and whilst some turn to reading, listening to music or just browsing their phones to pass the time, London-based photographer Matt Crabtree gets busy taking candid photos of his fellow passengers, transforming their photos into 16th century style Renaissance paintings as they go about their daily commute.

Eventually it’s Crabtree’s ambition to open an exhibition full of these photos and even create a book. You can see more of his work here.
