The Divide Between Rich and Poor Captured in Eye-Opening Drone Photos

We all know that there’s a divide between rich and poor around the world but actually being able to see that ‘divide’ isn’t always that easy, unless of course you’re looking at the work of photographer Johnny Miller who’s latest project, “Unequal Scenes”, explores exactly this.

Focusing on the Republic of South Africa Miller’s latest project explores the inequality between the rich and the poor through an entirely new perspective, from above, using his drone to capture the literal divide between two communities that were purposely designed to be segregated.

Although reasons for divides in rich and poor can differ from country to country the inequality you see below can largely be put down to Apartheid policies when racial segregation was once the law. Although these laws were abolished 22 years ago many argue that things remain very much the same.
