There’s nothing worse than a boring and bleak building facade, but luckily graffiti artists like Astro are always on hand to make them a little more interesting and in this case a mind bending illusion that draws your eye inwards.
Using a combination of swirling curves, patterns, sharp shapes and sometimes calligraphy Astro’s murals appear like portals to another dimensions as they lead the viewers eye into a never ending tunnel.
Astro’s latest the artwork, the first one you see pictured below, is on a residential building in Loures, Portugal, south of Lisbon and was created as part of an art project known as Loures Art Publica.
